I have the perfect fabric to make some of these lovely and simple play mats, plus organic quilt batting. Next project up, once I finish all of my in progress projects.
Super idea! I would love to receive one of these. Too bad I didn’t see this earlier or I could have put together some of these for gifts to my crafty friends.

this is such a great idea!
if you have friends who sew, gift them a mason jar filled with fabric and a pattern!
you could do the same for friends who knit, crochet, embroider, etc.

I love this blue fabric wreath someone made! You could just attach fabric leaves to those metal wreath forms and voila! Pretty decor for any season. :)

This is a cute gift idea.
I am thinking of making these as favors for my sister’s bridal shower. It is a tea party theme.

I love this idea! And what a neat thing to give as a present, too.

I am going to make some of these with the nifty sewing themed fabric I have. (And I have those beautiful pins on the left page, too!) :)

I haven’t noticed these markers in the store. I’ll have to keep an eye out and then test them myself!
Decorated Pouches | How About Orange
You may remember a post I did a while ago about the new Stained by Sharpie pens that are out - they’re still the same Sharpies but specifically designed to be used on fabric and last longer when washed. One of my favourite blogs How About Orange did some testing with the pens and the above two pouches are the results. I’m loving both of them! But as said - large areas will come out like any kind of textas do - a bit scribbly and darker where it overlaps. If you do smaller areas I can’t see how it would be a problem, and if you don’t mind the scibbly-ness then that wouldn’t be a problem either!
Meet Gracie. She loves the sound of rain on a metal roof, drawing pictures on construction paper, and warm milk with a dash of cinnamon in it.
